Applying UT to Visual Timing in Occultation Observations

Abstract

There are several methods of obtaining a sample of Universal Time (UT) and I also discussed the required accuracy required for both visual (eye) and video (camera) observations. Most people start their occultation observing career by using visual methods, so that is a good place to start.
