Abstract

We have studied extreme environments of Iran. The environments with high salinity and sulfur-containing compounds like SO2 and H2S that a few kinds of organisms can live there. Among the solar system planets, this is Europa that has the most likeness with Iran’s extreme environments. The subsurface of Europa moon consists of salty water or liquid sulfur-containing compounds. The survey on the structure of Iran's extreme environment inhabitant extremophiles bacteria are reasons for expecting halophytic organisms and sulfur-reducing bacteria can live there.
