Abstract

The differential time-series CCD photometry has been carried out during 2013 for the high-amplitude Delta-Scuti star GSC1489-0914. Based upon our data and others available in the paper, a comprehensive analysis has been conducted to investigate the physical parameters of the star including; luminosity, mass, radius, surface temperature. The main frequency and new ephemeris calculation indicates oscillatory behavior. Note that this type of variables is standard candles, so this intrinsic specification could be used to compute its physical parameters and pulsation constant and then guide to its harmonics and pulsation modes. By comparing the calculated Q value with stellar evolutionary model, we have found that the star is pulsating in f mode with l= 3.
